About NAC 2007

National Accountants Conference (NAC) is a flagship event in Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) continuing professional education programme. This year marks MIA presenting the NAC for the 23rd successive year. Themed Towards Excellence, Achieving World Class, it will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 12-13 November 2007.

The conference which has in recent years brought together almost 2,000 professionals from around the country, is viewed as a platform for learning and developing stronger business networking opportunities. It will provide you with the opportunity of earning up to 16 MIA CPE credit hours while you hear dynamic and professional speakers delivering pertinent information on current business issues, financial management practices and standards, personal development and much more.

The Venue

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur's latest addition to the convention industry will be venue of the Conference. A component part of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), this purpose-built facility for international, regional and local conventions, tradeshows, public exhibitions, entertainment and private functions, offers state-of-the-art wireless LAN, telecommunications and digital audiovisual facilities allowing interactive sessions for delegates. The versatility of the Centre’s design, layout and facilities also promise a dynamic convention atmosphere for all delegates.

KLCC will also be venue of the 18th World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) in November 2010, a prestigious event to be hosted by MIA.
