KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Land Holdings Bhd recorded higher profit before tax of RM54.3 million for the first quarter ended March 31 2012 from RM17.6 million in the preceding year corresponding quarter.
Revenue increase to RM303.7 million from RM187.6 million previously.
While the property market was expected to remain cautious in the short term, given the prevailing lending environment, UEM Land was confident of its prospects in the current financial year.
